All of the hotel’s rooms are bright, contemporary and well equipped, with all the modern comforts and facilities you need in a restful, relaxing base. Whether you are exploring the region as a tourist, visiting the area on business or attending a conference, the comfortable, peaceful rooms provide a relaxing haven. The rooms have wide, flat-screen LCD TVs with full Freeview satellite channels.

In addition we have 12 conference and meeting rooms with air conditioning conference equipment as standard, accommodating between 6 and 350 guests. This is supported by 3 main banqueting rooms holding up to 300 guests for a evening reception, wedding reception or a formal dinner. Please contact the hotel for a brochure and details.

Food & Beverages

Dettori's restaurant is designed to appeal to both the formal and casual diner. The simple and understated decor lets the food do the talking, while the lounge and bar supports a well balanced wine list to complement each and every dish. The medallions of beef served with shallots and a brandy sauce are to die for; while the rump of lamb fell apart after cooking all day in rosemary and garlic and a deep red wine sauce. A restaurant inside a hotel, yet not a hotel restaurant - this is the best description for Dettori’s, offering great value for money to bring you back wanting more. Dettori's is open daily from 16:30 to 21:45. On Sundays it is open from 12:30 to 21:30.

Booking policies vary depending on the booking, advance purchase rooms are non-refundable. Bookings must be cancelled no later than 13:00 on the day of arrival or the booking will be charged. Car parking is for up to 200 cars, we regret that we cannot guarantee a parking space. Parking is entirely at owner's risk. If credit cards are not valid then the booking will be cancelled immediately.

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is not included and costs GBP 6.50 per person.  Full English breakfast is not included and costs GBP 9.95 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
