Stylish and contemporary, all of the hotel’s rooms are spacious, luxurious and beautifully appointed. Each of the rooms is equipped with Sky satellite TV, a Bose iPod docking station, a media connection socket, a laptop safe and a full-size hairdryer. All of the rooms are triple glazed and fully soundproofed for a peaceful, comfortable and relaxing night’s rest. The rooms feature all the modern comforts and facilities you need in a base, whether you are exploring the city for a holiday, visiting the area on business or attending a conference. All of the rooms are en suite and each bathroom features a separate bath and a walk-in shower.

The Macdonald Manchester Hotel has a dedicated conference floor, with 13 meeting rooms, each boasting plenty of natural daylight. The main function suite will hold 280 people, perfect for dinners and conferences alike. Guests can dine in the hotel’s brasserie, in the cafe/bar or in the comfort and privacy of their room. The hotel’s superb central location means that all that Manchester has to offer is within easy reach. The G-MEX centre is just over a kilometre away and the MEN Arena is less than 2 kilometres away. The hotel has a secure car park with 85 car parking spaces available for guests’ use (at an additional cost).

Food & Beverages

Bright by day and intimate by night, the spacious and relaxed restaurant has commanding views of the city and an open theatre kitchen. The restaurant has been awarded an AA Rosette for the outstanding preparation of its food and the good quality of the ingredients it uses. Only the finest, freshest seasonal ingredients are used and the restaurant sources the best produce available, local and organic where possible. You can expect organic milk, free-range eggs, corn-fed poultry, grass-fed beef and wild white fish. The chefs combine rigorous quality standards with flair and imagination to produce classic dishes bursting with fresh flavours. Breakfast is served from 06:30 to 10:00, Monday to Friday, and from 07:00 to 11:00 on weekends. Dinner is served daily from 18:00 to 22:00. The hotel’s stylish cafe bar is the perfect place to grab breakfast on the go or catch up with friends or colleagues over coffee or drinks. Settle into a plush curved sofa and watch the plasma flat-screen TV as you browse the menu or simply watch the world go by from the full-length windows. The cafe bars serves light snacks, delicious homemade cakes, fair-trade coffee and a range of teas. If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is not included and costs GBP 17.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  Extra beds are not available.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
