Our elegant rustic country hotel on the border lies in the middle of the countryside by the gateway to Isny, valued throughout, surrounded by countless hiking and Nordic walking routes and cross-country ski runs.

In November 2007 all rooms were newly furbished with fancy fabrics and modern carpets. In addition the single rooms got king-size beds.

Unwind in our spacious sauna which features "experience showers", Kneipp herbal baths and heated tiled loungers, or take time out in our harmoniously decorated relaxation room. Extremely fresh, high-quality ingredients are of great importance to the hotel's chefs. Delicious seasonal fare, surprise menus comprising several courses, speciality and gourmet menus, and the popular Candlelit Dinner (each Saturday evening) round off the culinary delights on offer. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Mondays.

Area information

This hotel is surrounded by the harmonious hilly scenery of the Allgau, with its numerous hiking paths, cross-country skiing routes and paths for Nordic walking, as well as little lakes for bathing. The area offers day trips to the castles in Füssen and Neuschwanstein, shopping trips to the cultural metropolis of Kempten or to Lake Constance and visits to the city of Wangen which features a well-preserved old quarter.

By Car: - The hotel features direct access from Isny towards Maierhöfen. - The hotel is located 2 km from the junction on the right-hand side immediately after a forest.

If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 8.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 22.00 per night and person for extra beds.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
