Hotel details

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel, however there is an outside patio where guests may smoke. Check-in is from 11:00, check-out is at 10:00 weekdays and at 11:00 weekends. The hotel has a night porter service.

Food & Beverages

English breakfast is cooked fresh to order and guests may help themselves to a selection of cereals, juices, tea and coffee. Free range eggs are used from a local farm and sausages made by a local butcher, English bacon is used.

We reserve the right to pre-authorise credit or debit cards. Payment will be taken on your arrival at the hotel - you may pay by credit/debit card, cash, cheque with cheque card guarantee number. Parking Options: (1) The hotel has free parking behind a barrier opposite the hotel during weekdays from 6pm - 8 am Monday - Friday and for the whole weekend commencing 6 pm Fridy - 8 am Monday morning. Come to reception to be given a key fob to lift the barrier. (2) The hotel has a special arrangement with a secure car park (Chequers Mall) very nearby for overnight parking where guests may park for £2.00 per night from 4 pm - 10am next morning (may drive in and out during that time). On arrival at the hotel give reception desk your registration number and make of vehicle to book your car in to car park and you will be directed in to it. (3) Parking bays opposite the hotel are free from 6 pm - 8 am all week and weekend but after 8 am meters most be fed.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Private parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is needed) and costs GBP 2.00 per day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. 

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
