Bus: Bus service from Plaza de Colón to Barajas International Airport and vice versa (every 12 minutes from 04:45 to 22:00 and every 30 minutes from 22:00 to 01:17. (25 minutes, EUR 2.50.) From Plaza Colón, take the underground (line 4) from Colón to Argüelles, the closest station to the hotel (one way ticket: EUR 1.00) or a taxi (approximately EUR 6.00). Metro: Line 8 from Barajas to Mar de Cristal, then change and take line 4 to Argüelles. Ticket price: EUR 1.10. Another option is to take line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios, then change and take line 10 to Plaza de España. (Approximately 40 minutes. One way ticket: EUR 1.00, special 10-ticket rate EUR 5.20, also valid on buses).
Area information The T3 Tirol is located in the Barrio de Argüelles district, within walking distance to the Plaza de España and the city centre, Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, University and Campus. The International Airport of Barajas (13 km) and the Trade Fair Juan Carlos I are easily accessible via metro. The nearest stop, Argüelles, is close to the hotel. Other places of interest are the city of Toledo (60 km), El Escorial (45 km) and Segovia (78 km) have good public transport connections.
