Area information Rafaelhoteles Orense is situated in the centre of Madrid, right in the heart of the Azca area, next to the Palacio de Congresos, Paseo de la Castellana and Santiago Bernabéu stadium. Very close to Chamartín and Nuevos Ministerios train stations (with direct trains to Barajas international airport) and to Juan Carlos I IFEMA Exhibition and Events centre, with access to the M-40 motorway. Travel information By Air: The hotel is approximately 12 km from Madrid Barajas International Airport and taxis are readily available from just outside the airport. Alternatively, the pink line (line 8) of Madrid’s Metro system provides a cheap and efficient way of getting to the hotel. Metro trains run regularly from the airport to Nuevos Ministerios Metro station, which is just a short walk from the hotel. The Metro should take about 15 minutes from the airport to Nuevos Ministerios. By Metro: The nearest Metro stations to the hotel are Nuevos Ministerios on the pink line (line 8) of Madrid’s Metro system and Santiago Bernabéu on the dark blue line (line 10) of Madrid’s Metro system. By Train: Chamartin train station is just 5 minutes away by bus and Atocha is just 15 minutes away by bus. By Bus: A number of buses run from the bus stops near the hotel, including 14, 27, 40, 43, 120, 126, 147 and 150.
