Area information Central and convenient: One stop from the main train station. By foot: 5 minutes to the Wies'n (Oktoberfest) and to the Augustinerbräu. With subway / city train: 4 minutes to Marienplatz and to the Frauenkirche or the Viktualienmarkt - 6 minutes to the Deutsches Museum or Gasteig - 9 minutes to the Kunstpark Ost. Travel information We are one stop away from the Central Train Station. With the S-bahn (Hackerbrücke), you can reach Marienplatz, the heart of Munich’s old town, in just four minutes. The Oktoberfest is just a ten-minute walk away. From the Hauptbahnhof (Central Train Station): - Take the S-bahn toward Hackerbrücke (all lines) - Get off at Hackerbrücke and follow the signs to Theresienwiese. - At the first lights turn right onto Landsberger Strasse. - Our hostel is two minutes away. - A taxi ride will cost around EUR 5. From the airport: - From Franz Josef Strauss Airport (MUC), take the S1 or S8 lines. - Get off at the stop Hackerbrücke and follow the signs to the Theresienweise. (35 minute journey) - Turn right at the first lights, onto Landsberger Strasse. - Our hostel is two minutes away. - A taxi ride will cost around EUR 50.
