Luton Hoo is known to have been among the most expensive schemes of Lancelot 'Capability' Brown's career, second only to his work at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. In 1947, the present Queen Elizabeth and newly wedded husband Prince Phillip spent part of their honeymoon at Luton Hoo, as personal friends of Lady Zia.

Food & Beverages

Wernher Restaurant is located in the original State Dining Room in the Mansion House, and offers exquisite fine dining. Adventurous dishes and traditional British classics are served. Gentlemen are requested to wear a jacket or tie for dinner. The Adam's Brasserie is housed within the historic Stables Building, designed by distinguished 18th-century architect, Robert Adams. It offers a more informal style of dining, from a modern British menu. The Adam's Brasserie is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 35.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
