The villa is over one hundred years old, very much appreciated, but very well conserved. Visitors appreciate the hotel is a comfortable, valued throughout, old dutch jugend style designed hotel. Parkhotel Hugo de Vries is a small distance from National 'Park De Hoge' Veluwe with the famous Kröller Müller museum. You will enjoy the atmosphere and the personal attention of the people who work with us. We are a non smoking hotel!. Other places of interest in the regio are Palace Het Loo, valued throughout, Airborne Museum, Open Air Museum, Apenheul, Burgers Zoo and lots of other musea.

Dine in the stylish restaurant from 1 May - 1 October in our attractive restaurant (the former living room of professor Hugo de Vries). Breakfast is a sumptuous continental buffet.

All rooms have a good ventilation system. Some rooms have windows which do not open.

Area information Hugo de Vries hotel is situated in the Veluwe (beautiful region of nature) in the middle of the towns Barneveld, Ede and Veenendaal - in the green heart of the Netherlands. These beautiful surroundings have many tourist attractions, like the National Park of the Hoge Veluwe, where you can go hiking, biking and horse riding. How about a visit to the Kröller-Müller Museum with its world famous paintings of Van Gogh or going to the sauna and beauty centre De Veluwe, located within a stone’s throw from the hotel? Ede, Veenendaal and Arnhem are nice places to spend a day shopping. Travel information By car: From the A1 Amsterdam/Apeldoorn: - Take the exit to Barneveld/Ede, then the A30 to Ede, exit Lunteren From the A12 Utrecht/Arnhem: - Near Ede take the exit to Barneveld/Apeldoorn, then take the exit to Lunteren on the A30 From the A15 Rotterdam/Nijmegen: - Take the exit to Kesteren - N233 to Rhenen/Veenendaal, follow Veenendaal, then drive towards Ede - At the traffic lights drive towards Lunteren on the A30 (N30) and then take the exit to Lunteren In Lunteren: -Just before arriving in Lunteren you bear off to the right to the ring road (Westzoom) towards Ede -At the end of the ring road you take the second exit towards the centre and the congress centre (De Werelt) on the Edeseweg, which immediately becomes the Dorpsstraat -You will find our hotel after 200 metres on your left (no 13) -In front of the hotel there is a bus shelter

If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 15 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 85 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 1.35 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
