The Hotel & Residence Villa Sassa is an oasis of peace wrapped into a huge 16'000 m2 park, in the midst of the hills of Lugano and with an open view on the lake. The Restaurant “Ai Giardini di Sassa” proposes an innovative and tidy cuisine with a particularly attentive service in an impressing atmosphere. The exclusive Wellness Club consists of several zones, which connect care and relaxation with physical activity: Fitness courses, swimming pool and Whirlpool, as well as sport physiology.

Food & Beverages

During the day the restaurant is the ideal choice for a rapid but tasty business lunch, while at night it becomes a romantic setting with a scenic view on the lake and Monte Brè. The restaurant Ai Giardini di Sassa is the right choice to start an exciting evening, with innovative and healthy culinary proposals and selected ingredients, served by a discreet and attentive staff. In the summer you can luxuriate on the fabulous terrace and enjoy the balmy Lugano evenings.

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and costs CHF 10.00 per hour.

Private parking is possible on site and costs CHF 15.00 per day.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  CHF 3.15 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Continental breakfast is not included and costs CHF 25.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 100.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
