Area information It is definitely worth taking a stroll through the baroque-style city centre of Ludwigsburg. Take a walk across the historic market square which has two baroque churches, arcades and a statue of Duke Eberhardt Ludwig, the founder of the city. Three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings, an open air market is held here. Special events: Ludwigsburg Palace Performing Arts Festival, Baroque Christmas Market, Venetian Fair, Horse Market, Exhibition in the Porcelain Manufacture, Garden show "Blooming Baroque", Market Square Festival, Pumpkin exhibition, cultural focus in the "Forum am Schlosspark", etc.
