The Schlosshotel Monrepos is set in a large park on the charming lake Monrepos. Built between 1760 and 1803 in a Baroque style by dukes Carl Eugen and Friedrich I, Monrepos Castle is only a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Its historic splendour can be enjoyed at celebrations and gala dinners to this day. No hotel rooms are available in the castle itself. The Schlosshotel Monrepos offers conference rooms and banquet halls in 4 different buildings. They provide a stylish setting for parties, incentives, and seminars of up to 200 guests. Modern conference technology is available.

Food & Beverages

A breakfast buffet is available in the Mediterranean-style conservatory each morning, or on the lakeside terrace. In the traditional Gutsschenke restaurant you can enjoy international dishes and Swabian specialities. Meals are made using fresh, local produce of the season, and fine wines are available. The restaurant is open daily between 11:00 and 24:00. End your day with a fine cocktail in the Monrepos Bar (open from 17:00). Please note that the bar is closed on Sundays.

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and costs EUR 8.00 per hour.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 15.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
