Described by Nikolaus Pevsner in 'The Buildings of England' as 'that prodigy of timber framed houses' and, and above all, more recently, in the New York Times as 'the most handsome inn in the world', the Feathers Hotel is internationally recognised for its beautiful Jacobean architecture and medieval heritage. Being so central, valued throughout, the Feathers Hotel has, for centuries, been an important meeting point for the local community, and visitors enjoy its lively atmosphere, particularly during the annual arts-dedicated Ludlow Festival, which takes place during the last week of June and the first week of July.

The Feathers' much acclaimed award winning restaurant enjoys a reputation for offering traditional and innovative contemporary cooking using fresh, local produce. The hotel's bar, lounges and courtyard are open from mid morning for tea, coffee and light meals. In the afternoon, guests and visitors can relax and enjoy a quintessentially British cream tea with homemade cakes and scones. In the evening the bar is a perfect place to enjoy a cocktail before dinner.

Any amendments or cancellations to your booking must be made direct with this website and not The Feathers Hotel, or charges may be incurred. Please note that the hotel does except pets but only in certain rooms.
