Rooms

Economy and Standard rooms are located in the Hotel Swiss-Chalet and are comfortable and simply furnished. Economy rooms have shared shower and toilet facilities. Standard rooms all have a private bath. Superior rooms and Deluxe rooms are found at the Schloss-Hotel or Jagdschloss which are both 4 star hotels. Superior rooms do not have a view of the lake. Deluxe rooms are all south facing and are overlooking the lake.

The Swiss-Chalet is an old 17th century farmhouse converted with skill and loving care to offer guests the hospitality they need for a truly restful and enjoyable stay. The menu includes the very best of international cuisine, with a wine cellar to match. You can choose between the old "Stube" bar, the snack bar and the restaurant for your meals.

- Every hour, there is a train (S3) leaving the main station Luzern to Merlischachen. - Within 15 Minutes, you arrive in Merlischachen. - Ticket rate: CHF 5.40 per person. - A taxi is more expensive. approximately CHF 40 each way.

Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged CHF 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All children from 2 to 17 years are charged CHF 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  One older child or adult is charged CHF 35.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 6.
