Rooms

All the comfortable rooms located in the hotel are fully equipped with a TV, hairdryer, electronic safety deposit box, minibar, desk, cupboard and heating. Any additional facilities are listed below: Double Superior: these comfortably spacious, air-conditioned rooms are have an en suite shower and bath. Double Standard: these air-conditioned en suite rooms are smaller than the Superior rooms and have a shower. Triple Rooms: these air-conditioned en suite rooms have one double bed and one single bed (or 3 single beds). Quadruple Rooms: these air-conditioned rooms have an en suite bathroom with shower and either one double bed and 2 single beds (or 4 single beds). Each room also has a balcony with a table and chairs where you can have breakfast, and a living room with table and chairs. In the summer you also have direct access to the breakfast buffet. Single Rooms: these comfortably spacious en suite rooms are tastefully decorated and have air conditioning. Annexe Rooms: located in a separate building, one of these rooms has an en suite wash room and toilet and the other has a private bathroom outside of the bedroom. All annexe rooms are spacious and are equipped with a TV, heating, hairdryer, cupboard and fan.

Hotel details

- The Residence Santa Chiara is a small bed & breakfast hotel on two floors. Guests can use the private entrance. -The Dependance, is situated on the second floor of an ancient Lucca's building and has no lift. This building has a nice location in a quiet street. -There is no 24 hour reception, so please inform us, should you arrive after 8.00 pm.

Food & Beverages

Enjoy a plentiful buffet breakfast in the garden from 08:00 - 10:00. In the colder months, enjoy breakfast buffet, which is served in the covered garden from 08:15 to 09:30.

Check-in is from 12:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 20:00, due to a 2-hour lunch break. Please let us know if you are arriving at a different time.

Parking

Public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 6.00 per day. 

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 4 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 18.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
