A Victorian conservatory in the English style serves as the dining room. The conservatory is surrounded by the villa’s lush, verdant gardens and because of this is known as The Gazebo. Guests can have lunch (only in high season) and dinner in the charming restaurant. The restaurant offers refined, elegant service and high-quality cuisine featuring authentic traditional local specialities of the region. A comprehensive wine list offers a selection of Italian and international wines to complement your meal. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.

Travel information

By Air: The hotel is approximately 20 km from Pisa’s Galileo Galilei International Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport. By Car: The hotel is conveniently located just off the SS12r, a major national road that connects Lucca to Pisa. - From the north or the south of Italy, take the motorway towards Florence. - Take the exit for Lucca Est. - On the left-hand side you will see a large roundabout. Take the exit for Pisa. - After about 3.5 km you will see the entrance to the hotel on the left-hand side. Parking: Parking is available free of charge.

Area information

There is plenty to see and do in the area surrounding the hotel. You could take a walk along the walls and through Lucca and then pay a visit to the gardens and the beautiful historic villas that were once the summer residences of dukes, barons, princes and princesses. You can drive along the wine route, which winds through the hills around Lucca, taking in various wineries and offering a chance to sample excellent locally grown wines. You could take a trip through the Garfagnana with its various paths and trekking areas. Lucca is well situated for half-day excursions or day trips. With the hotel as a luxurious and relaxing base, you could visit Pisa and the famous leaning tower, the eternally beautiful and ancient city of Florence or the liberty-style buildings of the Versilia coast, including Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta. San Gimignano and Siena or Cinque Terre and Portofino are only about an hour and a half’s drive away.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
