Hotel details

The Hotel Russell offers unrivalled facilities for meetings, conferences, banqueting and special events. Function rooms, equipped to the highest of standards, accommodate between 2 and 450 people. They include the elegant Wharncliffe and state-of-the-art Woburn Suites which can both seat 450 delegates theatre style or 350 people for dinner. Meetings at Russell Square is a purpose built business centre offering extensive facilities for meetings of 2 to 90 people, with dedicated on-site technical and secretarial support. Please note that the Hotel Russell is now non-smoking throughout.

Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and costs GBP 20.00 per 24 hours.  Wireless internet is available in public areas and charges are applicable.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is not included and costs GBP 18.50 per person.  Full English breakfast is not included and costs GBP 19.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 9 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
