The London Elizabeth was originally built in 1850 as 3 private houses in a new terrace of elegant family homes on Lancaster Gate Terrace, as it was then known, in the area of Bayswater, London. Today, you can savour the charm, character and atmosphere of a bygone age, whilst enjoying modern facilities and the high levels of service of a contemporary hotel. The original Victorian structure is complemented by the hotel’s attractive decoration. The décor is unique in each room, with floral prints and antique-style furnishings. The hotel’s Rose Garden Restaurant offers both European buffet-style breakfasts and full-service cooked English breakfasts between 07:00 and 10:00. Breakfast is served daily in the restaurant or you could enjoy breakfast in your room or on the hotel’s terrace, weather permitting. The restaurant’s menu features seasonal, country classic cuisine, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The homely dishes are made using locally sourced produce, fresh from the market, as well as herbs from the hotel’s own herb garden. A generous selection of dishes for vegetarians is available. The surprisingly reasonable prices allow you to enjoy a taste of England and of Europe, with the comfort and convenience you require when eating away from home. The comfortable and welcoming bar offers a timeless atmosphere of classical elegance, with its old leather and warm wood panelling. All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 2 to 14 years are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
