Wembley Stadium/Arena - one of the most spectacular stadiums in the world which will welcome roughly one and a half million football and rugby fans each year. It has also has played an important role as the country's leading venue for music concerts.
Hampstead Heath - perched on a hill, this became the favoured home of the rich and famous in the 17th century, when springs with alleged medicinal qualities were discovered. Today, it has quaint and quirky shops, street cafes, restaurants, historic pubs, meadows, hills, ponds, lakes and the magnificent heath. The heath has 791 acres where you can stroll, take a guided walk, jog, sunbathe, picnic, fish, play football, tennis or bowls and swim in one of the ponds or at the Parliament Hill Lido. The heath also offers a horse riding circuit, adventure playground, play equipment and activities for the under 5s.
Camden Town - a popular tourist attraction bustling with wonderful people and a vast choice of arts, crafts, clothing and furniture outlets. There are 6 markets dotted around the busy high street, the majority of which open 7 days a week. Although neighbours Primrose Hill, Highgate and Hampstead offer a far more refined atmosphere, nowhere in North London can equal Camden’s energy and attitude. It also features a stunning lock and a wide variety of dining opportunities and nightlife.
By road: from Central London, take the a5 Edgware Road North from Marble Arch. Follow it onto St Johns Wood Road and Wellington Road to Finchley Road (a41). From the a41 turn right onto the a504 and then take the 5th left into Parsons Street (b552). Take the 4th left into Ashley Lane.
From the North take the m1 to junction 2 (a1). Turn right at the first set of traffic lights onto Parsons Street then 1st right onto Ashley Lane.
By rail / tube: Take the Northern Line (Underground) to Hendon Central or the main line to Hendon Station (1.5 miles). Then take a taxi from either station to the hotel.
By air: Take the Heathrow or Gatwick Express services into London and then use either the Mainline service to Hendon or the Northern Line (underground) to Hendon Central. Then take a taxi to the hotel.
