Spacious, exquisite en suite rooms, most with magnificent views of the stunning Llangollen countryside. Recently refurbished, the bedrooms in the original building feature a degree of space and individualism seldom found in modern hotels. We offer a mix of rooms and suites many with antique beds and wooden beams. All guests will receive full use of spa facilities at our sister hotel.

All guests are entitled to complimentary use of the spa facilities at Bryn Howel’s sister hotel. The spa offers a range of relaxing and therapeutic treatments and facilities, including a hydrotherapy spa pool, a steam room and a sauna. A full range of spa treatments are available as an optional extra, for which advance booking is advised. The new hair salon, Impressions, is also now open.

Food & Beverages

Take in the panoramic views of the Vale of Langollen and the distant ruins of Dinas Bran Castle while you enjoy your meal in our Cedar Tree Restaurant. Using local ingredients including Welsh black beef, lamb and salmon, complemented with your choice from our extensive wine list, our team of award-winning chefs will prepare a variety of interesting dishes served by our Restaurant Manager and his staff ensuring you a memorable dining experience. The intimate Oak Room is perfect for private lunches and dinners for up to 30 people; it is the ideal place to relax and unwind. Relax in our Lounge Bar, where a variety of bar snacks are served. Here you will see James Coster Edwards' initials within the ornate plasterwork of the ceiling. In cold weather the log fire blazes in the large sandstone fireplace which is decorated with the first two lines of the Welsh national anthem.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
