Explore the home of the Beatles and the Mersey scene, Liverpool's historic docks and superb museums and art galleries. World famous for its football teams, comedians and musicians, Liverpool was once Britain's principal port and is steeped in history. Everything that the vibrant city of Liverpool has to offer is just a few steps away from the Hanover Hotel. Please be aware that the Hanover is at the heart of the Liverpool scene and, as a consequence of that, it can be noisy, especially at weekends. If you are looking for a quiet hotel, we advise that you do not stay in the city centre. As 2008 approaches, Liverpool city centre is undergoing major construction work with the Paradise project. The city centre is being modernised, and is a hive of activity as a consequence. Building work is being carried out most days and noise is noticeable. Please note that all of our rooms are non-smoking.

Please be aware that the hotel offers live music from Thursday through to Saturday and that the hotel is located in close proximity to the main nightspot in Liverpool city centre. Guests are therefore asked to consider this when booking. All guests will be asked to pay upon arrival. Please note that AMEX is not accepted at the hotel.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

35 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
