Exit to the "Eixo Norte-Sul" (North-South Axis) in the direction of Alcântara / Avenida de Ceuta. Follow Avenida de Ceuta to Avenida da Índia. Enter Avenida da Índia to the right in the direction of Belém (Cascais). Take the first right turn immediately after passing under the 25 de Abril bridge. Coming from the South by the 25 de Abril Bridge: Take the first exit immediately after crossing the bridge, in the direction of Alcântara. Area information Located just a stone’s throw from Lisbon Congress Centre, Vila Galé Ópera is easily accessible via public transportation. Visit downtown Lisbon (Baixa) or the medieval areas of Alfama and Mouraria. Bairro Alto and Madragoa, with its authentic streets, are just as much worth a visit as is Belém. Jerónimos Monastery has been put on the International Heritage list of the UNESCO.
