Arciduca Grand Hotel

The Hapsburgs’ opulence combines perfectly with Sicilian styles from the end of the 19th century to create a summer palace that is now the 4-star the hotel. Area information Lipari, known to the Ancient Greeks as Meligunis, is the largest of the Aeolian Islands. Once a well known trade centre for obsidian, it is renowned today as the main centre for pumice stone. The scenery is rich and the unique fauna and flora is matched only by the undersea views of coral, sponge, rock and marine life. Travel information By Foot (from the port): - From Lipari Port walk along the main street, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, to the end. - The hotel is located a few steps away from the centre and is only 2 minutes walk from the tourist port of Marina Corta.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 8 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified up to 3 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. One child under 2 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding. One child under 3 years is charged EUR 12.00 per night and person in a baby cot. One child from 3 to 12 years is charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed. One older child or adult is charged 70 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
