Hotel details

Built in pure Palladian style with Art Nouveau decorations, the Hotel Des Bains, Venice Lido Resort welcomes international guests since 1900 and since then is the preferred holiday destination of many. Refurbished a few years ago, supplied with every type of modern comforts, the Hotel Des Bains has maintained a Belle Époque atmosphere. The magic of the ambiance is evident in the extraordinary staircase with its wrought iron banisters, in the romantic beginning-of-the 20th-century atmosphere of the Palladian terraces surrounding the hotel and particularly in the leisurely accommodation.

Beisdes the Liberty and the Pagoda restaurants,offering dishes for the most delicate palates, you can enjoy tasty snacks at the Beach Bar, at the Pool Bar or indoors at the Colony Bar.

The following room types can be equipped with an extra bed: Classic double room; Deluxe Double Room with Sea View; Junior Suite with Garden View; Double room - Golf Package; Summer on the Beach - Package. Beach service, water sports are available from the 10th of June to the 15th of September. The swimming pool is open from May to September (weather permitting).

Area information The hotel is conveniently located close to many of Venice’s attractions, like Saint Mark's Bell Tower (1.0 km), Bridge of Sighs (1.0 km), Frari Church (3.0 km), Rialto Bridge (3.2 km), the Biennale Art Exhibition (1.6 km) and the Guggenheim Museum (2.0 km). The Venice Film Festival takes place on Lido every year in September. Travel information Private transfers can be arranged, upon booking at least 24 hours before, from several travel destinations, including the Cruise Ship Harbour, Marco Polo International Airport, Santa Lucia Railway Station and Piazzale Roma. Alternatively you can use a water taxi. From the above destinations you can also use public transport (the vaporetto water buses) as far as the Lido SM Elisabetta pier, and then proceed by water taxi to the hotel. From the Airport you must use the Alilaguna shuttle service.
