Built in 1999, the Grand Balcon chalets offer different kinds of apartments sleeping 2 to 8 people, some with mezzanine. Spacious and carefully decorated, they all comprise of a living room either with sofa-bed or sofa-bed for 2 persons with 1 pull-out bed, kitchen area with 2 electric hobs, fridge, Italian coffee machine, bath or shower with hair dryer, WC (the larger apartments have an additional bath or shower and WC), balcony or terrace with sun loungers, TV, telephone and safe.

Situated 800 m from the village centre of Les Houches, at 1000 m altitude, the superb complex of “Le Grand Balcon” comprises 8 traditional wooden chalets, most of which are equipped with lift and phone booths, totalling 106 carefully decorated apartments. Furthermore there is covered parking and the site is positioned for sunlight with a magnificient view of the Mont Blanc valley. The welcome chalet contains a reception area. The interior decoration is predominantly that of window-dressing, adding a refinement as well as a warm atmosphere “à l’italienne” to the apartments and communal areas.

Minimum stay is 7 nights, from Saturday to Saturday (some exception exists). The hotel has the right to cancel a reservation that does not correspond to these conditions (after having informed the client). Following your reservation, a booking agent will contact you regarding our payment conditions. After you have authorised the payment, a deposit will be charged from the credit card you provided at time of reservation. PAYMENT CONDITIONS (valid from Sept 6th 2004): *if a reservation is made more than 1 month before arrival date, 30% is to be paid at time of reservation, the balance is to be paid 1 month before arrival. *if a reservation is made 1 month before arrival date and in last minute, 100% is to be paid before arrival date. DAMAGES DEPOSIT: This deposit is payable at the moment of check-in and is a 100% reimbursed if: the apartment and its belongings have not been damaged, you do the cleaning at the end of the stay, if you don't, the sum will be deducted from your damages deposit. OPENING HOURS: 9h-12h and 17h-20h. For late arrival (after 20h), please call the establishment. Holiday tax, pets and other extras are non-included in the price.
