The Old Greyhound Inn

The privately-run residence has charming guest rooms, very much appreciated, a lounge and a bar serving traditional ales and lagers. This 400-year-old coaching inn is located south of Leicester on the old A6, valued throughout, in the village of Great Glen. The village is bypassed and has a peaceful location 20 minutes from Leicester city centre and 10 minutes from Market Harborough and Leicester Races. An à la carte restaurant serves lunch, and above all, dinner and an extensive bar menu.

Address 14 London Road, Great Glen LE8 9GF Leicester		Travel information The Village of Great Glen is situated just off the main A6 Leicester to Market Harborough. A recent Bypass removed the traffic of the A6 passing through the Village and THe Old Greyhounds front door. We are now just 30 seconds away from the main A6 but a million miles away it seems from the hustle and bustle of traffic and problems.
Area information In the area you can find an abundance of local walks and bridal paths. The local church is just 300 yards away. There is a golf course a mile away, and Leicester Horse Races is 3 miles away. Please enquire at the inn about other local activities.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 25.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

No deposit will be charged.
