Parking:
Please note that the Park Plaza Leeds does not have an on-site car park; however, the hotel does have a 15-minute drop-off zone directly in front of reception.
By Car (from the M62, travelling eastbound to Leeds and Hull):
- Leave the M62 at junction 27 and follow the signs for the M621 on the slip road.
- Leave the M621 at junction 3 (the city centre).
- At the traffic lights, continue on and follow all directions below for either the car park or the hotel.
By Car (from the M62, travelling westbound to Leeds and Manchester):
- Leave the M62 at junction 29 and follow the signs for Leeds and the M621.
- Once on the M621, continue on this motorway until junction 3 (the city centre) and exit here.
- At the traffic lights, continue on and follow all directions below for either the car park or the hotel.
By Car (from the M1, travelling northbound to Leeds):
- Leave the M1 at junction 43 and follow the signs for Leeds and the M621.
- Leave the M621 at junction 3 (the city centre).
- At the traffic lights, continue on and follow all directions below for either the car park or the hotel.
By Car (from the M1, travelling northbound to Leeds):
- Leave the M1 at junction 43 and follow the signs for Leeds and the M621.
- Leave the M621 at junction 3 (the city centre).
- At the traffic lights, continue on and follow all directions below for either the car park or the hotel.
By Car (from the M1, travelling southbound to Leeds):
- Follow the signs from the A1/M1 and exit at junction 44, following the signs for the A639 /(M621 Leeds South); leeds centre is 4 miles from here.
- Continue to follow the signs for the M621 and Leeds.
- Once on the M621 motorway, follow the signs for the city centre and Holbeck.
- Leave the M621 at junction 3 (the city centre).
- At the traffic lights, continue on and follow all directions below for either the car park or the hotel.
By Car to the Park Plaza Leeds (and not to the nominated car park):
- Leave the M621 at junction 3 (the city centre).
- At the traffic lights, continue on straight through and follow the loop around past the Energis building on the left-hand side.
- Get into the third lane (of four lanes) which goes around the corner (signposted St James Hospital and Shoppers' Car Parking).
- At the next set of traffic lights (signposted Shoppers' Car Parking) turn left.
- Follow this road, in the left-hand lane, with Asda house on the left-hand side.
- Go straight ahead, over the small bridge and, at the traffic lights with the Golden Lion ahead on the left-hand side, continue through the lights up through Briggate.
- As you approach the T-junction with McDonalds ahead on the left, get into the left-hand lane and turn left into Boar Lane.
- Continue down Boar Lane, through all the lights and you will see the Park Plaza on the right-hand side.
- Turn right into Lower Basinghall Road and into the hotel's drop-off point.
By Car from the hotel's drop-off point to the hotel's nominated car park:
- Turn left onto boar lane, and go straight into the right-hand lane and turn right at the traffic lights down Mill Hill.
- At the bottom of Mill Hill, at the lights, go straight over, through set of lights (signposted for all motorways) and under the arches.
- At the next set of main traffic lights, turn left at BT Global, down Sovereign Street and continue to the end of this road. Do not park in the open-air car park on the left-hand side)
- Go left onto the one-way system for 1 metre and turn into the Criterion multi-storey car park.
To the Criterion Car Park (Qpark), the hotel's nominated car park:
- Go straight through the traffic lights and follow the loop around past the Energis building on the left-hand side.
- Continue to the next set of traffic lights and ensure you are in the second lane (of four lanes in total), going straight ahead; this then goes into 3 small lanes, the third lane is to turn right. Get into this lane for the third set of lights directly outside the UKI partnership on your left and KPMG on your right.
- Turn right here, down Sovereign Street, which is the street between KPMG and BT Global.
- Continue around this road until the end (please do not park in the open-air car park on the left-hand side). Go onto the one-way system for 1 metre and turn into the Criterion multi-storey car park.
- On exiting the car park from the lift entrance, turn left, walk under the arches and cross over, walking up Mill Hill. At the top, you can see the Park Plaza, across the road, to the left, on the corner of Boar Lane and Lower Basinghall Road.
