The entire structure is built using the traditional "pietra leccese" typical of the region and every room in the palace, very much appreciated, from the hall to the bedrooms, is adorned with suggestive star vault ceilings, cornices and niches. Centro Storico B&B is located in a XVI century palace called Palazzo Astore that has recently been restructured and restored to its original splendour in every little detail. Oronzo and other historical landmarks such as the Basilica di Santa Croce and the Duomo, highly regarded, Centro Storico B&B is the preferred luxury bed and breakfast of Lecce's visitors. Situated a few minutes from Piazza S. Because of its historical relevance the building is listed and protected by the local Fine Arts Authority since 1994.
