Area information The hotel is located in the beautiful pictuesque Lauscha valley near Rennsteig, the most popular and famous hiking trail of Germany.There are many destinations and hiking paths in the region. Guests can visit the glass museum and the colour glass atelier, the fairy grotto, the minery Morassine, the slate museum, the German toy street and the toy museum Sonneberg, the summer toboggan run and the porcelain street with porcelain manufactury. There are also many castles in this region.

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 0.60 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 12 to 15 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
