The 10 cosy double rooms in hotel De Kastanjehof are divided in 3 VIP-rooms and 7 standard rooms. Recently the VIP rooms have been completely renovated. The bathrooms of these luxurious suites provide every standard of comfort demanded by the modern guest. One of the VIP-rooms has a jacuzzi.The standard rooms have been individually decorated, giving every room its special touch and creating an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms with bath and/or shower, toilette, toiletries, hairdryer and exclusive Kastanjehof bathrobes for greater relaxation. Four standard rooms have their private balcony with a beautiful view of our garden. The hotel garden, which is situated right at the back of the building, makes the vieuw from all the rooms impressive in every season of the year. The beds in each room are of high quality and very comfortable. Every room has table and chairs and a desk. Other supplies: cable TV, direct dial telephone, coffee/tea facilities, laundry service. Roomservice is without charge. From 7.00 hrs till 10.30 hrs. a breakfast buffet with wide choice is served in the restaurant. For your comfort lounge chairs are available in the private garden. Visiting the Netherlands one should experience a cycling tour. The hotel offers bicycles for rent.

The regular time to check in is 3 pm but, if you like, you can come earlier and put your luggage into store. That way you will make the most of your stay in Lage Vuursche.

Food & Beverages

De Kastanjehof is known for her excellent kitchen, which is French orientated with Mediterranean influences. We solely use fresh products. The extensive menu offers guests a range of choices of delicious dishes. Besides the à la carte menu we also have a daily menu for lunch and dinner. We pay special attention to our vegetarian guests. The menu section 'neither fish nor meat' allows them to create their own menu. The excellent wine list is categorized by grape and is mentions separately in the latest Michelin guide. Apart from the à la carte restaurant De Kastanjehof also has 2 separate rooms (the Salon max. 30 pers. and the Garden room max. 60 pers.) that are especially suitable for larger groups. Other possibilities: - Brunch - High Tea (from 10 pers.) - Reception (up to 250 pers.) - Diner dansant - Business presentations - Meetings ( day- en night packages ) - Workshops en seminars In the summer months lunch and dinner are served on the idyllic terrace. Every Tuesday the De Kastanjehof has 'Ladies Day'. Two ladies can lunch for the price of one. Reservations are appreciated.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  EUR 1.95 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 13.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 55.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
