Hotel the hotel is a small hotel founded at the end of the 19th century managed by the 4th generation of the Peguera-Sort family. Our numerous collections of antiques add flavor and ambiance to all these places. In addition, and above all, it has a terrace with a portico, TV lounge, fireplace lounge and a wine cellar from the 12th century.

The hotel’s renowned restaurant serves homemade delicious meals based on traditional Catalan recipes adapted to the new times and carefully elaborated by the owner. Some suggestions: rice dishes and stews, especially the so called "Gall Roig deL'Alt Urgel” free range roosters.

The hotel does not accept American Express as a method of payment.

Area information

La Seu d’Urgell is an important tourist center. Located in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees, in the Segre valley, 10 km away from Andorra and 45 km away from the French border. It’s the capital of the Alt Urgell region. In the surroundings you will find mountains, the Natural Park Cadí-Moixeró, the Medieval center, the Olympic facilities of the Segre Park, adventure sports and 4 ski resorts.

Travel information

La Seu d'Urgell is located 10 km away from Andorra and 45 km away from the French border. From Barcelona: Take the Eje del Llobregat (through the Cadí tunnel) and then the N260 at Bellver. You can also take the N-II road till Cervera, then Ponts and then La Seu d’Urgell through the C-14 (Eje del Segre). If you want to enjoy the landscape, we suggest you to follow the road to Calaf, via Jorba. You can also reach us via Manresa, Cardona and Solsona. From Girona, the most common route goes through Banyoles, Olot, Sant Joan de les Abadesses, Ripoll, La Collada de Toses, Alp and Bellver (also from the Eje Transversal)

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

7 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Buffet breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 24.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
