The hotel features a Baby Club for babies aged from 10 weeks to 5 years old. It is open everyday from 08:45 to 18:45. Bathed in natural light, the thalassotherapy centre features an exquisite wooden and glass decor enhancing an ever-present sensation of well-being. It offers an extensive range of personalised sea-water and water treatments. The hotel features 2 functional, elegant and air-conditioned seminar rooms that can accommodate 20 to 80 people. There are also rooms for banquets and receptions for up to 100 people.

Food & Beverages

Healthy and tasty cuisine, indoor or outdoor, flavoursome seafood or low-calorie diet, the Royal-Thalasso Barrière caters for all. The bar, Le Marie Louise, proposes a variety of piano concerts, and it is open all year round (except in January) from 11:00 to 23:00. Le Jardin du Royal serves delicious buffets, mixed grills and roasts in the hotel’s park in July and August. It is open from 12:30 to 14:00. The restaurant, Le Ponton, offers delicious seafood right on the seafront. It is open all year round (except in January) from 12:30 to 14:30 and 19:30 to 22:30. The restaurant, Le Royal Diet, offers a la carte or set menu seafood and low-calorie cuisine. It is open all year round (except in January) from 12:30 to 14:00 and 19:30 to 21:30. La Rotonde faces the sea and welcomes you in a luxurious setting where you can appreciate traditional and creative gourmet cuisine. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi will be closed from Thursday 05 November to Thursday 17 December 2009 due to renovation. The Aquaminceur courses will still be available during this time. The sauna, steam room and cardio fitness room will remain open from 09:00 to 12:30 and 15:00 to 20:00. Upon arrival you will be offered your Leisure Activities & Advantages card, to benefit from special privileges on sport and leisure activities at the hotel and to enjoy exclusive discounts from the hotels partners. Your Privileges • 1 free hour of tennis per day and per room between 12:00 and 17:00 at the Tennis Country Club. • 1/2 an hour of Golf discovery from 12:00 to 12:30. • 1 free spa treatment per person during the stay at the thalassotherapy centre THALGO, reservation required. • The 1st hour of windsurfing, sea kayaking or pedal-boating is offered during the stay at Bruno Peyrons centre, reservation required. • 1 cocktail offered at the bar at Casino Barrière of La Baule during your stay. • Free entrance to the discotheque Indiana-Club. • Bicycles at your disposal at the hotel. • Free shuttle in La Baule between the 10 July until the 25 August. Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

5.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.12 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs EUR 23.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 45.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
