Rooms

All of the bedrooms are spacious, quiet and a balcony fitted out with deckchairs. Bathrooms are vast and brilliant and the toilet is separated in most of the bedrooms. All of the rooms are equipped with television (satellite), minibar, safe and direct telephone. Bathrooms are equipped with hairdryer. Some rooms, especially on the 5th floor, are equipped with Wi-Fi (1024 KB) via Eutelsat. Club Rooms with balcony (21 square metres). North exposure, with views of the Massif of 'Les Grandes Rousses'. These rooms are fitted out with 2 single beds, or one large bed. The maximum occupancy for this accommodation is 2 adults. Possibility for a baby cot to be added (3 years maximum). Toilets are in the bathroom. 5 rooms have showers, the others have bathtubs. Supérior Rooms: Rooms with balcony (27 square metres). View is to the South or the West, looking over the valley and the skiing domain. These rooms are fitted out with 2 single beds or one large bed and one sofa bed. The accommodation facilities in every room are for 2 adults and 2 children, less than 12 years old, or 3 adults. Possibility for one baby cot to be added (less than 3 years old).

Hotel details

The Hotel "Le Pic Blanc", created in 2001, wears the same name of one of the summits of the Massif of the Big Red-haired mountains (Rothaargebirge), which peaks at 3330 metres. The mountain chalet architecture, covered with stone of country and larch, integrates perfectly into the mountain environment. A warm interior decoration, with sweet tones and wooden developments, ensures a harmonious and warm atmosphere. The hotel raised on 7 floors, with 94 rooms and suites, which offers open views from the balconies, open views of the skiing domain or on the valley of Romanche and the Massif of Oisans and its mythical summits, la Meije, la Barre des Ecrins, la Muzelle and le Pelvoux among which some exceed 4000 metres of height. The hotel is located in the district of 'the Bergers' (Herdsmen), from 100 metres of the Commercial Gallery of the Bergers and of departures of ski runs (School of the French Ski). More than 25 shops, ski and surfing equipment rental and security at your disposal. The Avenue of the Games is very close (3 minutes from the hotel) and accessible by the free shuttle. Luggage room, post services, fax, internet, information, baby-sitting (subject to availability and paid service), ski room and the lobby is equipped with a Wi-Fi SDSL (1024 KB) connection. The hotel offers free access to the Health Centre with the following equipment: Swimming pool covered with wide plate glass windows over viewing the South and the valley, the jacuzzi and the sauna, as well as a fitness room. (Opening of the Health Centre from 09:30 until 19:15).

Food & Beverages

Breakfast served on a buffet basis (from 07:00 until 10:00). Dinner menu with 4 dishes. Bar with fireplace open from 16:00 - 01:00.

The hotel may charge 30% of the total amount of the booking once the reservation has been processed. You will be notified by e-mail if need be.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 0.80 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
