Area information Kortrijk is a Belgian city, through which the River Lys flows, and municipality, located in the Flemish province West Flanders. The city is located 42 km southwest of Ghent and 25 km northeast of the French city Lille. The Belgian motorway A19 and the European roads E17 and E403 intersect at this city and can be accessed from the ring-road R8. Take advantage of the direct train connections to many Belgian cities, such as Ghent, Bruges, Ypres, Brussels and Antwerp. You can also take a direct train to Lille.
