At the Auld Post Hotel we have nine elegant bedrooms, which hav erecently been renovated. These are tastefully appointed and carefully serviced to ensure all guests enjoy a comfortable stay.

Hotel details

Reception opens Monday - Friday 7:30am to 6pm and Saturday - Sunday 8am to 12:30pm. Check-in procedure outside of these hours will be attended to in Thunder Road bar. A credit card is required as a guarantee of booking. It is company policy to take a deposit for the first night's accommodation and this will be debited to the card given, unless otherwise instructed. Bookings made over the weekend period will be confirmed on the following Monday. No pets allowed other than guide dogs.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

100 percent of the first night will be charged at least one day prior to arrival and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
