Kinsale is 'the gourmet capital of Ireland ' and Actons Hotel has been instrumental in the creation of this international reputation. The Captain's Table Restaurant is a member of the prestigious "Kinsale Good Food Circle". A choice of menus designed by the award-winning chefs feature modern Irish and European cuisine with an emphasis on seafood and healthy options. Fresh local produce is used whenever possible. With its light and contemporary décor, the Waterfront Bar is the ideal place for a quiet pint, to watch the match or to enjoy a meal. A full bar menu with “Scallywags” children’s selection is on offer every day. A popular fixture in the Kinsale diary is the live jazz every Sunday lunchtime in the Waterfront Bar. The world renowned Cork City Jazz Band and Billy Crosby play from approximately 13:30 until after 15:00. During the warmer months, the beer garden is a charming walled area with patio heaters and awning adjoining the bar.
