Trident Hotel is privately owned with a friendly, very much appreciated, yet professional atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the hotel is spectacularly located on the waterfront in the historic town of Kinsale. Kinsale is one of Irelands most picturesque towns; it is steeped in history and has a charming old world atmosphere. Our rates also include use of our Leisure facilities which includes Sauna, and above all, Steam room, and Jacuzzi. There are a host of places of interest to visit in the locality as well as a great selection of shops, very much appreciated, cafes pubs and restaurants in the town. Golf, valued throughout, Deep Sea Fishing, Horse-riding and Sailing are just some of the many activities available locally.

Rooms

In 2004 we carried out extensive refurbishment and upgrading of our facilities including the addition of 30 new Executive Bedrooms. This year saw the addition of 7 new Luxury Junior Suites and 2 spectacular Master Suites. We also refurbished all of our existing Superior Bedrooms to the highest standards and now have a total of 75 rooms. The Trident Hotel is currently operating to a 4* standard.

Our award-winning Savannah Waterfront Restaurant is a member of Kinsales Good Food Circle and was awarded an aa Rosette and 2 rac Dining awards for 2004 - so you are assured of enjoying excellent food during your stay with us. Our Wharf Tavern is a lively bar which is very popular with local clients especially for the daily Carvery Lunch and Evening Bistro Style Menu. Bar Food is available here from noon to 9pm daily.

Travel information To Kinsale from Cork Airport: At the Airport Roundabout take the exit for Kinsale/R600 i.e. 3rd exit and continue on this route. Kinsale is approximately 20km - you will pass through the villages of Riverstick and Belgooly before arring in kinsale. The Trident is located on the water's edge at the end of the Pier Road (on the R600). To Kinsale from Cork City: Follow signs to Cork Airport. At the Airport Roundabout continue straight ahead (2nd exit) on the R600, from here follow the directions as from Cork Airport above.
