The hotels offers 82 quiet and cosy rooms. All rooms are decorated in the typical northern style: bright and warm colours with light wood panels. In front of the hotel and in the garden green-white wicker beach chairs invite to relax and enjoy the sun. Our 4 comfortable apartments with kitchenette are the perfect "home away from home" for our long-term-guests. Non-smoking rooms, rooms accessible for handicapped people and shared rooms are available upon request.

We offer 6 Air-Conditioned meeting rooms sized 21-199 Sqm. and modern conference technology as well as personal secretarial service. Due to experienced support on site every need will be fulfilled immediately. We also organize special Leisure-Events. Birke day spa wellness area with sauna, steambath, rasulbath, swimming pool, bistro, solarium, massage and beauty centre! Sports activities at the hotel the adherent woods are perfect for walking or jogging. It is also possible to rent a bicycle to explore our charming surroundings - just ask for more information at our reception desk.

Food & Beverages

Restaurant "fischers fritz" We serve fish specialities and other regional specialities, all containing only fresh ingredients, prepared in our Open-Show-Kitchen. Watch our chefs at work! (daily: 11.30am-02.00pm and 06.00pm-10.00pm) Our typical northern German buffet breakfast will stay in your mind forever. We offer fresh juices from the region, eggs in all varieties, shrimps, fish and much more... At our hotel bar with open fireplace we serve regional snacks, refreshing pils beer or red wine from our wine cellar (24 hous/day).

Please note that the reception is staffed only until 16.00 on Christmas Eve (24 December 2008). Please inform the hotel if you intend to arrive later.

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and costs EUR 12.50 per hour.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
