Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. Please note that there is a nightclub adjoining the hotel. At weekends, music may be heard in a small number of rooms one part of the hotel (most rooms are unaffected). If you have concerns about this, please contact the hotel for more information.

Food & Beverages

Victoria's Restaurant: Named after the monarch following her stay at the hotel in 1844, the restaurant is ideal for all occasions. The room has recently been refurbished, but maintains the feel of Victorian times with its decor and Victorian glass dome. Victoria’s Restaurant can cater for up to 50 guests at a function. The restaurant is open every evening (except Sunday) from 18:30 to 21:00. On Sunday traditional lunches, together with a selection of other meals, are served from 12:00 to 14:00. A full range of wines is available.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Public parking is possible on site and charges are applicable.

Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.  One older child or adult is charged GBP 10.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
