The Restaurant at The Borrowdale Gates Hotel, has one of the most spectacular views in the country. Serving a fusion of French and British/Lakeland cuisine, the 2 rosettes awarded by the aa are deserved. Service with a smile and a fabulous 100 bin wine list will round your meal off nicely.

Cancellation Policy

If modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 50.00 will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

A fixed amount of GBP 50 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  Baby cots are not available.  All children from 2 to 12 years are charged GBP 35.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
