Hotel details

The hotel is situated on the site of an old farmhouse dating back hundreds of years. It takes its name from the ancient woodland area behind the building, which was known as Lyzzick Wood. It is thought that this stems from medieval times and the name means light oak. For the last 35 years Lyzzick has been a hotel and the essence of its history has not been lost. This is a building of great character, which has been sympathetically adapted to the needs of the 21st century.

Food & Beverages

At Lyzzick Hall we pride ourselves on the quality of our food. All food is freshly prepared using quality local ingredients and often herbs from our own garden. We are sure that dining with us will be the highlight of you stay. To compliment your food we offer a wide variety of wines from our extensive wine cellar. You may choose between wines from all over the world but we have some particularly good wines imported especially from Spain.

A credit card is required by Lyzzick Hall Hotel as a guarantee. Please note that there is a 2 night minimum stay at weekends and 3 night minimum stay at public holiday weekends. Lyzzick Hall Hotel is a fully non-smoking hotel.

Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
