Clarendon House

The original timber framed 'Castle Tavern' which is incorporated into Clarendon House, very much appreciated, dates back to 1430. Visitors appreciate the hotel is situated in the centre of the Kenilworth Conservation Area in the heart of England. During the 17th century it was regularly used as a billet for Cromwell's troops during the siege of the castle. The tavern prospered through Elizabethan times situated on the main route to Kenilworth Castle. The centrepiece bar and brasserie are open all day and evening for fresh snacks or more substantial meals. Each bedroom is elegant and comfortably furnished, valued throughout, all ensuite with full facilities.

Follow the signs for the town centre, then continue along the Warwick Road going straight on at the clock tower. Follow the road round and at the traffic lights go straight on and take the 1st left into the Car Park. Our reception team will be waiting to welcome you.

Not to be missed are Warwick town centre, on the River Avon, Warwick Castle and the University.
