From the M6 North or South: The hotel is situated 15 minutes from Junction 36. Follow the A590 onto the A591 - South Lakes & Kendal. Ignore the first turning into South Kendal and follow signs for Kendal North on the A591. At the roundabout (The Gateway Hotel on the left), follow signs to Kendal, Brough and Penrith. This road will take you down into Kendal past the county offices on the left. You will then come to a set of traffic lights. When you have gone through the traffic lights, keep in the left hand lane. (Briggs Shoe Mine is on the right). Drive straight on, past the BP garage on the left. Move over to the right hand lane, the County Hotel is on your right. At the give-way junction, turn right. Take the first right and immediately after the pelican crossing, turn into Beezon Road. The Riverside Hotel should be situated on the left.
