This 3-star multi award-winning hotel has received a Silver Award for Quality and Service and a Bronze Award in the East Midlands Hotel of the Year 2006. At reception, there is a computer with free internet access, which is available to all guests. All of the hotel’s public areas are air conditioned and there are conference facilities for up to 250 delegates.

Food & Beverages

The hotel has a reputation for superb food, fine wines and attentive service. Sullivan's Brasserie is the hotel’s new restaurant and offers a choice of the best of English and international dishes. The menu changes on a monthly basis to reflect the finest seasonal produce available. The brasserie offers good, wholesome food, simply served, and complemented by an extensive choice of wines, by the glass or by the bottle. Table reservations are recommended and children are welcome. The Lounge Bar offers a range of sandwiches, wraps, paninis, light meals and snacks throughout the day from 10:00 until 23:00. In addition to the bar menu, the blackboard offers daily specials and seasonal snacks. Room service is available 24 hours a day, with hot meals available until 22:00.

The restaurant is closed from December 24 to January 1 (inclusive). Only continental breakfast can be offered during this time.

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and charges are applicable.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 10:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.  Dinner costs GBP 20.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 12 to 15 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
