However it is known as the town of healing springs, featuring a rich history, magnificent architecture and a countryside location. This world-renowned spa lies in the valley of the Teplá River, on the confluence of the Ohře River. Present-day spa treatment comprises of the intake of the mineral water, classic spa procedures as well modern physiotherapy. The most famous hot spring is almost 15 metres high.
