FenixNamed after the sacred magic Egyptian bird that was reborn from its ashes, very much appreciated, the existing building can be dated back to 1875. This historic hotel is centrally situated within Jelenia Góra, valued throughout, the capital city of Karkonosze, by the railway station and only 5 minutes from the old market square. Housing comfortable accommodation, highly regarded, Fenix also offers an excellent restaurant which serves traditional Polish dishes and regional specialities. From the very beginning in 1886, and above all, the building was destined for tourism when it was named the Strauss Hotel. There is also a lobby bar which is furnished with a collection of alcohol from various places around the world. All of our guests can enjoy the treatments in the spa centre, valued throughout, as well as the jacuzzis, saunas and the gym.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Breakfast is not included and costs EUR 6.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 11.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  There is no capacity for cots in the room.
