At the Hotel Tashkonak rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds provide a good night's sleep. Hardwood floors and private en suite bathroom and showers are available as well as the convenience of air conditioning, cable TV and a minibar. Several of the rooms have balconies with lovely views of the garden or the Marmara Sea. Whether in a single, double or in one of the spacious suites, there is a daily cleaning service that provides fresh linens.

The Tashkonak boutique hotel is a quiet home away from home where you can escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Istanbul while remaining close to the sights of many historical and touristic attraction in heart of Old Istanbul, which blends old-world charm and modern amenities in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. The Tashkonak Hotel is a tastefully restored 19th century mansion, featuring 32 rooms with contemporary decor in rich colours, hardwood floors and wooden Ottoman-style furniture. Breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant, overlooking the Bosphorus, with boats jutting their way to the Marmara Sea, a wonderful introduction to the bustling city. Above, yet in the heart of the city, the call to prayer echoes from the minarets and you will know this is somewhere special. It is a pleasure to feel at home in a Tash Konak original from the end of the 18th century. As well as the facilities listed, the hotel is air conditioned and offers a tour desk, a welcome drink and printer.

The hotel building is centuries old with a lovely and cosy "secret" garden. Beautifully kept greens provide the perfect hideaway for a relaxing afternoon or evening. You can sit here in the sun sipping a glass of fresh Turkish tea or coffee in the midst of this teeming, bustling city. Complimentary Turkish Breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant, overlooking the Bosphorus.

One-way free airport shuttle service is available for guests staying for 4 nights or longer (Ataturk Airport only). Guests are asked to inform the hotel in advance if they wish to make use of this service.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

8 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included.

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
