All rooms feature a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. Also available are fully-serviced 2-bedroom apartments with small kitchenettes for 4-6 people. Each room boasts either a balcony or terrace with unobstructed views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Hotel details

A full bar is always available, as is a widescreen TV and lounge perfect for those can't be missed futbol matches. Rides in the hotel's minibus may be arranged. Poggio del Sole and the Colella family can also provide you with other services such as mopeds, cars and bike rentals for reduced rates. Complimentary transport to and from area spas and thermal baths is available upon request, and private babysitting can be arranged.

Food & Beverages

La Casereccia (home-cooked) is the on-site restaurant, where the tradition of Italian cooking grows not only from the earth but also from the passion of the Colella family who have lived on the island of Ischia for over 200 years. It is this heartfelt passion, born out of family tradition, combined with the freshest family-grown produce that makes every meal a memorable one. The Restaurant at Poggio del Sole is open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As this is a true family restaurant, casual dress is appropriate, children are welcome, and reservations are not necessary. Half-board at Poggio del Sole includes breakfast and either lunch or dinner. And of course, as this is your vacation, happy hour is every hour. After all of your feasting, don't forget to ask about purchasing a bottle or two of some of the hotel's homemade wine or liqueurs to take home to friends and family. They offer lemon, strawberry, melon, liquorice, arugula (rocket), basil, walnut, or coffee flavours.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
