Overlooking the picturesque harbour in Irvine's harbour-side district, valued throughout, the the hotel offers good-value accommodation close to Irvine's sandy beach and railway station. Comfortable rooms are offered with en suite or private bathroom facilities. Prestwick Airport is 8 miles, which is 13 km, away. Refurbishment work has now been completed on 5 new rooms on the ground floor. Some rooms have a beautiful harbour view. Guests also have access to a free DVD library. All the rooms are spacious, and above all, with en suite bathroom facilities and a 32-inch wall-mounted flat-screen TV with Freeview digital channels and a DVD player. Work has now started on the upstairs rooms and this work should be completed by July 2009. The rooms have ironing facilities, valued throughout, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks and tea/coffee making facilities.
