Rooms

The Gatehouse offers 13 bedrooms, individually designed and recently refurbished to include flat screen TV’s. One of the bedrooms is also fully equipped to meet the needs of disabled guests. Please note that for bookings of more than two rooms cancellation/amendment policy will be 5 days. Any cancellations/amendments made to the booking outside the above time frames will be charged the full amount of the booking.

Our bistro style menu has an enticing array of seasonal dishes and daily specials prepared from locally sourced produce, all cooked with great flair and passion, to satisfy the most demanding taste buds. Our wines are also carefully selected to compliment our food and our mission is to seek out exciting, yet affordable wines that you won’t find on any old table.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2. 

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
